PORTFOLIO

Over the years I've come to be a trusted leader known for getting things done.
Take a tour of some of my efforts below:

REDEFINING MEMBER BUDGETS

CHA asked me to lead and effort to redefine antiquated formulae and approaches to set 441 bespoke Member Office Budgets known as the Member Representational Allowances (MRA). My team and I were specifically thanked for our efforts resulting in Committee Resolution 118-13.

CASEWORK DATA ACT

As part of the inaugural cohort for USAFacts' Data Skills for Congress certification course offered in partnership with UC Berkeley, I wrote a capstone project including a bill that solves two longstanding challenges for Congress around Casework. First, creating an anonymous public dataset for casework

(Subcommittee on the Modernization of Congress Recommendation 172) that can be used to inform oversight and legislation and second, to formalize ownership and transfer procedures for the data. The bill has been taken in by Representative Kilmer (WA-06) who is working with Representative Timmons (SC-04) to introduce the bill in September of 2023. Kilmer's team has already won the interest of potential co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle including Members on the Subcommittee oon Modernization of the House Administration Committee as well as Members in the newly formed Fix Congress Caucus.

TRANSFORMING THE CAO WITH STRATEGY

in 2017, I led the CAO through a journey of transformation from an obsolete organization to one that is focused on Member needs, innovation, and bettering customer and employee experiences. I accomplished this by leading cross-functional teams to build new organizational capabilities and more.

04

BUILDING A CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

Through my strategic leadership and vision, the CAO has achieved its vision to become an essential resource by consistently delivering outstanding customer experiences 98% of the time. This dramatic change for the organization didn't happen by accident or luck.

A BICAMERAL OFFICE REBRAND & STRATEGY

In the winter of 2022, I was asked by the Office of Congressional Accessibility Services (OCAS) to develop their first-ever strategic plan. I worked with the director and team to set the mission, vision, goals, objectives, and values. I noticed that the office could benefit from a rebrand and was able to work with the team to design a new logo and color palette for the office as a bonus.  Later, in Fall of 2023,

I helped OCAS craft a first-ever workforce plan to help OCAS leaders align their workforce with their future workforce needs.

HOUSE SAA STRATEGY

In 2019, I helped then Sergeant at Arms, Paul Irving, define the office's Strategic Plan. William McFarland was an active participant in the room, and one of his first acts as the newly appointed SAA for the 118th Congress was to update and adapt the 2019 plan as the basis of the new strategic plan.
